Petra Börnerová band & Miloš Železňák )

History of the band:

Petra Börnerová Band was founded in 2005 for Rythm & Blues festival in Nyírbátor in Eastern Hungary. Foundating members were Czech vocalist Petra Börnerová and Slovak drummer Tomáš "Bobek" Bobrovniczký. Other  musicians was joined in Hungary from by members of Benkő Zsolt & the Bluesrivers band- Benkő Zsolt on guitar, Táncos István on saxophone and Bornemissza Ádám on bass. The band's qualities and potential has been proved after some occasional concerts in Hungary and Slovakia and they decided to go on  ... In autumn 2005 they had their first  tour in Czech republic, Slovakia and Hungary and in Brno recorded a live CD„Live at Stará Pekárna“ - with possitive reviews in Czech and Hungarian media.

Since 2005 the band performed over than 300 concerts in whole Europe (HU, DE, AT, CH, SR, CZ, HUN, YU,PL,CH) and also appeared in the biggest blues festivals, e.g. Blues Alive (Šumperk - CR), Gastroblues (Paks - HU), Living Blues (Bratislava - SR), Piazza blues (Bellinzona - CH), Blues im Orth (Orth - At). In 2006 they also begun a cooperation with the most respected hungarian pianist and composer Szilveszter Kosz, born in Romania. In 2007 cooperated with the band czech bassist Pavel Novák and saxophonist Kuba Doležal.

The band's repertoire contained blues songs of the 50-ties as well as modern contemporary compositions. Blues itself was  liven by soul and jazz elements and also blues of the 50-ties was formed into one. Emotional, heartfull and sweet grace of young Czech vocalist Petra Börnerová creates pleasant atmosphere, which  graduates the band´s performance.

In 2008 the band started cooperate with great slovak guitarist Miloš Železňák.  With the new guitarist came up the new sound and own compositions. In May 2008 the international Petra Börnerová band & Miloš Železňák (CZ,SK)is recordingthe studio CD and contitue in concerts and tours around Europe.

In October 2008 is comming to the band Mr. Peter Oberländer as ca new bass player.
